'Climate change is a global issue affecting everyone worldwide. There are many different ways to take action, and one of these is as easy as changing the clothes you wear each day. Ardalan enlightens us with the importance of checking into the background of the brands we use daily. These small decisions that we make impulsively have consequences on the environment as well as on less developed communities. Ardalan Tayebi has been a student at the International School of Florence (ISF) for almost a year. Before Italy, he lived in New Zealand and the United States. Ardalan has been able to travel all over the world and experience many different cultures. This has helped Ardalan broaden his knowledge of the world around us. He has seen examples of pollution and environmental damage all over the world due to the fashion industry and, therefore, decided to raise awareness in order to better both the wasteful fashion industry and our planet as a whole. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx'
